This captivating collage, known as the Love Formula, beautifully depicts many facets and layers of love.
A mystical phenomenon, translated into different textures and vibrant red hues. The Love Formula provides a unique glimpse into love, featuring snippets of the draft of ‘Das Liebesverbot’ (The Ban on Love)(1834) by the German composer Richard Wagner, an excerpt of a photograph by Oscar Gustav Rejlander, and a church owl coming out of her many wings. The owl holds many meanings in spiritual symbolism, one of which is solitude, while the wings of birds and butterflies represent freedom. This piece is a valuable addition to any art collection.
