Jalinka Gressmann is an Amsterdam-based multidisciplinary artist working in collage, assemblage, painting, photography, and sculptural objects.

Drawn to mythology, ancient cultures, dreams, and the occult, and with synesthesia and roots from across the world, she sees and senses patterns, transformations, and synchronicities everywhere: between a scent and a color, between someone else’s history and her own. Her practice mirrors this: experimental and instinctive, built from mixed materials and found fragments pulled apart and recombined into new connections, producing an eclectic body of work that moves freely between the abstract and the figurative.

Her background gives her work a spatial and material intelligence that reads across contexts. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts - Intermedia from the University of the Arts in Utrecht. Her work has been exhibited in New York, London, Philadelphia, and across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Portugal, and is held in private collections worldwide.
