This special edition AP X JALINKA collage captures a dream-like sense of wonder. A surreal sea landscape is depicted, where all sorts of marine life can be found, from whales to jellyfish. The colors and textures used evoke a sense of awe and amazement, as if the viewer has been transported to a far away underwater world. The vibrant colors used create a captivating and mesmerizing effect, drawing the viewer in and inviting them to explore this alternate reality. This artwork is the Special (Open) Edition Print that emerged from my collaboration with the Allard Pierson Museum.
Inspired by the museum's recent temporary exhibition on historical maps, I designed collage workshops for children as part of an educational program.
The print available for purchase is an exact representation of the artwork, printed using the finest Giclee technique—a renowned method for art printing that ensures exceptional color accuracy and longevity. It is printed on museum-quality Hahnemuhle (German Etching 310gr) paper, renowned for its archival properties, acid-free composition, and exquisite texture.
Each print is personally signed by me on the back, adding a personal touch and ensuring its authenticity.
